I've known Marni for a decade, and she's always been not only a true professional and leader in her craft but a compassionate friend. I first met her as the director of the Animal Assisted Therapy Program at the Humane Society of Broward County when I attended an informational class for the program. She has decades of experience with animals - training and caring for them and she truly shines in her group classes and private sessions with pets and their owners. I've been a part of numerous classes in the last ten years with two of my dogs and the types of classes she personally designs are always exciting, interesting and fun. You can never say Marni is boring. If you're looking to partner with a professional dog trainer, savvy business woman and kind human being, Marni is it and so much more.

I have known Marni for approximately 13 years and have nothing but positive things to say. I first met Marni upon enrolling my dog in the Humane Society of Broward County’s Animal Assisted Therapy Program, in which Marni was the Director of. From our first meeting, I was thoroughly impressed with her knowledge of animal behavior, her absolute patience with the animals, and her level of compassion for animal welfare. I simply have never met another person who has such an undying passion for not only helping animals in need of rescue, but also helping that animal to thrive in everyday life with purpose. Not to mention the people that benefitted from the care and attention they received from her therapy animal team. In fact, the Animal Assisted Therapy Program was not only extremely well organized, but also highly successful. I found Marni’s commitment and high level of integrity for the program to be outstanding. She has excellent communication skills and is a highly skilled dog trainer/instructor. She literally built the therapy program from the ground up and made it the thriving program it is today. I am proud to have been a part of such an outstanding program that helps people

from the elderly to children in need. This is all because of Marni’s dedication, level of passion and excellent work ethics. There is no doubt in my mind that Marni would be an excellent addition to any team, and any employer would be blessed to have her.

I've had the pleasure of working with Marni when we got our new puppy, Cooper. Her knowledge and patience was exactly what we needed to help us get the best behavior out of Cooper. Her approach was always reinforcing the positive and creating a healthy environment that our dog could thrive in and that we could feel good about, finding that important balance between an energetic puppy and a peaceful home. Marni is extremely skilled at what she does and I would recommend her to anyone needing assistance in training their dog, especially new dog owners!

I have served as a volunteer under Marni’s leadership for 20 years. Marni exemplifies effective communication, organization and problem solving. As a leader she mentors with compassion. As a dog trainer she is patient with all skill levels creating a safe non-judgmental space ensuring success. In a public speaker role, she articulates her knowledge and understanding of the human animal bond beautifully. For these reasons I recommend Marni as a dog trainer who will embrace and enhance your pets life!

I first began training my dogs with Marni in 2011, and have continued to do so, to this day. Marni has a thorough and far-reaching understanding about force-free dog training. Through her guidance (in both a class environment and a one-on-one environment), I have developed incredibly special bonds with my dogs; they include mutual trust, safety, and joyfulness. It may sound strange, but through Marni's dog training, I have learned so much about myself and have become a better person. I have learned to meet other beings where they are. I have learned how to be gentle with my dogs and in-turn, gentle with myself. I have learned how to build trust and safety. All of this, through dog training!!! My dogs are the happiest they can be, thanks to Marni. She has tackled tough issues with consistency, creativity, compassion, and kindness, and she has shown me how to do the same. She has shown me how to kindly revise my dogs' bad habits and work with their genetic dispositions, to keep us all happy and safe.

I have recommended Marni as a dog trainer to countless people and will continue to do so. She works tirelessly in this field, as an advocate for dogs and their owners. You won't find a more upstanding, qualified, talented, decent human being for a dog trainer. I highly recommend her.

Carly, my Bichonpoo, and I have taken several, very successful training courses with Marni. First and foremost, Marni is a consummate professional and a master of her trade. In addition to being extremely knowledgeable, she is also very supportive and compassionate no matter what the circumstances may be. Her well appreciated and very effective training methodology is always focused on positive reinforcement. When Carly was a 5 month-old pup, I was having several challenges with Carly's general behavior (attention span, easily distracted and coming when called). Marni's approach solved them all via her coaching, in depth explanations and excellent communications. In fact, as a result, Carly was able to receive AKC's Canine Good Citizen designation at an early age. Additionally, Marni often illustrates the desired training and other recommendations using one of her well-trained dogs as an example. This enables me and other class participants to watch Marni perform the desired training while we match both the process and activities with our dogs effectively. Marni not only teaches the various training courses at multiple levels but also manages her entire training business from courses, to class schedules, to logistics and participation. I highly recommend Marni in any role that utilizes her training, management skills, experience, knowledge and communications.
